What is Petra? 🏛️🇯🇴
Petra is an archaeological site in southern Jordan and the former caravan city of the Nabataeans. Much of its monumental architecture was carved directly into the sandstone landscape. The site has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1985.
