This volunteer exchange takes place at Roca de Hadas, an eco village project in South Jalisco, Mexico, around 30 km north of Colima. The host welcomes solo volunteers or couples to help with permaculture, gardening, natural building, and general support. The usual schedule is 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with two days off. Food and accommodation are included, with simple facilities such as dry toilets, outdoor showers, and shared spaces. Volunteers should be motivated, follow safety rules, and have travel health insurance. Spanish and English are useful, and the area offers nature and hiking.
