The hosts welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities, provided they are comfortable around horses and physically fit. Volunteers are expected to help around 4–5 hours per day, five days a week, and to assist occasionally with cooking and cleaning. The farm is surrounded by nature and located a short train ride from the city of Cologne, offering a mix of rural tranquility and easy access to urban life. There are no fees involved, but the hosts cannot provide visa support. A certificate of participation is offered at the end of the stay.
