Teach English in Ghana at the Spelmoure instituteย – We are a group of committed parents that have built a small school in the Ga North district of Greater Accra, Ghana, and are now looking for passionate teachers, prepared to work with us to develop the school.
Our Vision is:
to inspire future leaders through holistic education that champions global enterprise and innovation.
We are working with teachers from the West African sub-region and hope to offer scholarships for students, as well as cross-cultural exchange programs for students and teachers.
As we are following the British Curriculum, we are hoping to recruit those with experience of teaching internationally, particularly English, French, Sciences and Humanities (Geography, Social Studies etc).
Time:
Monday to Thursday 7.15am to 3.30pm.

5-13 yrs
Candidates
We welcome newly qualified, retired or โsabbaticalizedโ teachers willing to commit to a 1 year period with us.
Benefits
We are currently a small school so can offer the following:
- furnished accommodation within easy walking distance from the school
- a daily school meal
- cultural excursions, local language classes
We can give a small stipend for some expenses but not a great deal.
For the right person, perseverance, patience and practicality are most essential.
