Scenes from Green Village Hope Children Home in Ipali, Vihiga County, Kenya, capture everyday life and the impact volunteers make. Children gather outside the brick home for songs and stories, while another group smiles beside visiting volunteers at the blue corrugated classroom. Kids enjoy a safe swimming session, building confidence and learning water skills. At the front gate, bicycles and laughter hint at playful rides around the compound. A community outreach moment shows families receiving food parcels and essentials. The gate panels display the name of the home and nursery school, a promise of care and support for orphans and widows. Volunteers contribute to childcare, teaching, farming, building, fundraising, health assistance and digital tasks, typically 4 to 5 hours a day. Accommodation, meals and Wi Fi are provided, with no program fees, only optional donations. All ages and volunteers with disabilities are welcome to join a warm, purpose driven community.
