Volunteer at the English Language Camp in Brzesko

Poland, English school, camp

If you’re passionate about education, intercultural exchange, and meaningful travel, here’s an opportunity that might just align with your values. This August, the Old School House in Brzesko (Southern Poland, near KrakÃģw) is once again opening its doors to volunteers for an enriching English Language Camp that combines learning with fun, play, and cultural immersion.

Organised by Łukasz, a local English teacher and founder of the school, the summer camp will welcome around 55 students between the ages of 10 and 16. It will be supported by 7 English teachers and 2 young native speakers. Now in its third edition, the English Language Camp is designed to allow Polish students to improve their English while also engaging in a range of exciting activities, from sports and games to weekend trips and creative workshops.

What will volunteers do?

Volunteers are invited to contribute by interacting with the students in English through games, casual conversations, and planned activities.

The emphasis is on fun and creating a relaxed environment where language learning can happen naturally. Activities at the English Language Camp include bumper ball, archery tag, dog therapy, treasure trails, and more.

  • No prior knowledge of Polish is required.
Benefits

As a volunteer, you’ll receive free meals and accommodation for the duration of the English Language Camp (18–23 August 2025). And you’ll get the chance to explore Poland beyond the typical tourist routes.

Brzesko offers a blend of small-town charm and proximity to the cultural capital of KrakÃģw.

Łukasz and his team are currently looking for 2 to 3 more enthusiastic volunteers to complete their international crew. Whether you’re a gap-year traveler, an aspiring educator, or simply someone who enjoys working with young people, this could be a rewarding way to spend part of your summer.
