This project is a summer internship with Green & Away, a tented sustainable events venue in Worcestershire, England.
Interns live on site in their own tents and help across departments such as catering, events, hospitality, office management, technical maintenance and sustainability, while learning about eco-living and running green events. In return they receive three vegetarian meals a day and basic facilities like hot showers, compost toilets, WiFi and social spaces, while covering only their travel and personal bar or snack costs. The atmosphere is communal, outdoorsy and educational, with days off and occasional group activities like canoeing or visits to local eco-businesses.
