Bushcraft
What is bushcraft?
Bushcraft is, literally, the ability to live in the woods. All those techniques that allow us to live in nature in a primitive, simple way, without too many comforts are parts of “Bushcraft”. Lighting a fire without a lighter, building a hut, bathing in a stream, knowing how to recognise animal tracks, rediscovering our wild side by going off-track.
A very fun tool to use while “bushcrafting” is the tarp, which replaces the tent. It is a simple waterproof sheet that can be used to build many different shelters, it sharpens ingenuity and creativity, and compared to the tent it does not enclose us in a shell, but brings us into contact with the forest.
Children usually love to do Bushcraft!
