What is woodland living? 🌲🏡
Woodland living means staying or residing in a home, camp, farm, retreat or community located within or immediately beside a wooded area. Daily life may be shaped by the surrounding forest, greater distance from services, outdoor conditions and closer contact with the natural environment.
Woodland living, forestry and woodworking
Living in a forest does not necessarily mean doing forestry work. Projects involving the management, restoration or care of woodland belong more specifically in the Forestry archive.
Similarly, using timber for construction or making furniture is a different activity. Those roles may be better represented by Carpentry or woodworking-related tags even when the project itself is not located in a forest.
