Supporting early years educators

Check the children’s age groups, required experience and exact responsibilities. Ask about volunteer screening, training, safeguarding procedures and daily supervision. Volunteers should support trained staff, not replace them or take unsupervised responsibility for children. Respect children’s privacy and the organisation’s rules on photographs and personal care.
