Explore circus volunteer opportunities where circus arts, aerial performance, acrobatics or related creative activities form a genuine part of the project. These opportunities may be connected to cultural centres, artistic communities, festivals, workshops or performance spaces.
Circus is a specific creative field, so a project should not be included here simply because it hosts events or performances. The tag is most useful when circus activities, facilities or relevant artistic skills are explicitly mentioned.
Circus skills and safety
Activities can range from helping with performances and creative events to sharing skills in aerial arts, juggling, acrobatics or other circus disciplines. Some roles may welcome general creative volunteers, while others require previous experience.
Aerial equipment, rigging, acrobatics and other technical circus activities can involve significant physical risk. Confirm what training, supervision and safety equipment are provided, and do not undertake technical activities beyond your experience.
