Volunteering near the Appalachian Trail
A project located in the Appalachian region is not automatically an Appalachian Trail project. Listings in this archive should have a genuine connection with the trail, its surrounding landscape or communities along the route.
If trail maintenance or conservation work is involved, check who organises and supervises the activities, which tools are used and what fitness, equipment or previous experience is required.
