Friday Happiness is a lively volunteer community in the Monchique mountains (Algarve, south Portugal).
Volunteers help with horses, garden and other animals, plus small repairs, building and odd jobs. Work is about 24 to 25 hours a week, usually mornings, and Fridays often include prep for the famous pizza night. You get three vegetarian meals a day and simple accommodation like tents, vans, tepees or caravans. Minimum stay is two weeks; arrive Sunday to Wednesday.
