Voluntouring.org is a not-for-profit service. The goal is simple: help people and organizations connect in a safer, clearer, more useful way. If you’d like to help beyond donating, here are practical actions that make a real difference.

1. Write references for hosts and organizations. If you personally know a host or organization listed on the site (because you volunteered with them, worked with them, or met them through the platform), leave a reference. Open the announcement and use the comments section to describe what you did, how communication was, and what future volunteers should know.
2. Send us new opportunities to review. If you find a volunteer exchange or a volunteer opportunity that looks genuine and well-run, let us know so we can evaluate it and potentially feature it.
3. Share your story. A short experience report helps readers understand what volunteering is really like. If you want to contribute an article, even a simple draft is fine. We can help with editing.
4. Spread the word. Tell a friend, share a link, or mention Voluntouring.org in a relevant community. A bigger network helps the right people find the right projects.
5. Help with translations. If you can translate pages into another language, you can help us make key information accessible to more people.
6. Help distribute printed flyers or printable pamphlets. We may print Voluntouring.org pamphlets and also create printable versions for noticeboards. If you would be willing to distribute them locally, at a university, in a community space, or while travelling, please contact us.
