๐ŸŒฟ A Morning at Napuru Waterfalls

If you’re staying in Nkoaranga or Arusha, donโ€™t miss the chance to visit Napuru Waterfalls. Itโ€™s a quiet, peaceful spot not far from the village โ€” perfect for a day off from volunteering. The path to the waterfall takes you through farmland, forest, and hills, and itโ€™s a great way to see the area from a different angle.

The waterfall itself isnโ€™t huge, but itโ€™s beautiful โ€” with clean, cold water running down the rocks and a little stream where you can cool your feet. Most days, thereโ€™s hardly anyone there, so it feels like your own hidden spot. Bring snacks, water, and good shoes โ€” it can get muddy after rain.

Itโ€™s a favorite place for volunteers to relax, take photos, or just sit and listen to nature. If youโ€™re lucky, you might spot monkeys in the trees or local kids playing nearby.

Ask David or one of the locals โ€” theyโ€™re always happy to show you the way.
