Staying safe while exploring ecovillages and intentional communities 🌿✨❤️

Eco-villages and intentional communities can be inspiring places to volunteer, learn new skills and experience a different way of living.

Many are based on cooperation, sustainability and shared values. Still, volunteers should stay aware and ask clear questions before joining. It is important to research the community, understand the work exchange, keep contact with people outside the project and respect your own boundaries. Be careful with unclear leadership, pressure to conform, isolation, or unverified health claims. A good community should allow questions, respect personal freedom and communicate openly. Safe volunteering starts with curiosity, preparation and critical thinking.
