Santa Teresa Lifeguards in Costa Rica recruit certified, active lifeguards for a community-run beach safety program. Volunteers staff towers on busy surf beaches, join daily training with a fully equipped gym, and receive accommodation and meals at the HQ. Founded in 2015 after local drownings, the project has hosted 60+ international volunteers; applications via their website or email.
