A visa is required to enter Jordan, with the only requirement being to leave the country at the same border of entry within one month of arrival.
Different types of visas can be applied for:
- single-entry visa valid for two months: 40 JD (approximately 51€);
- multiple visas valid for three months: 60 JD (about 76€);
- multiple visas valid for six months: 120 JD (about 152€).
It is possible to obtain a free visa for those arriving in Aqaba by sea, land or air via Israel or Saudi Arabia, so it may be interesting to combine a visit to Tel Aviv-Jerusalem with a visit to Jordan on the same trip.
