Shared via our Facebook group. / Volunteers are needed at a farm camp on Langeland Island, Denmark, from April to September. Tasks include housekeeping, cleaning, animal care, gardening, and dog walking. Volunteers work 5 days a week for 5 hours daily and receive accommodation and food in return. This eco-camp is ideal for individuals who enjoy working hard, getting their hands dirty, and love animals, especially dogs. Note that the project cannot assist with visas or travel costs.
Youth Camp Sweden is open for applications. Youth Camp International is looking for English-speaking volunteers from all around the world. Vässarö Scout Centre is the largest permanent youth camp in Sweden. It is owned and run by the Stockholm District of the Swedish Guide and Scout Association and has approximately 30,000 overnight guests a year. Many Scout and Guide groups, both Swedish and foreign, choose Vässarö Scout Centre for their summer camps.

Length of stay
You can volunteer for 1 week, with no maximum limit.

They don’t pay your transportation costs or airfare to the youth camp, insurance or visa.
They send no invitation letters.

Dear Ladies and Gentleman,
my name is Franca Rödhammer, I am 19 years old, originally from Austria and a professional basketball player. This year I am playing for the women’s team in Cartagena/ Spain.
Due to the fact that I grew up in Austria, where we have a lot of nature and possibilities to experience different kinds of destinations and mountains, I have always loved to spend my time outside and with animals. I also was a Scout for about 11 years of my life and my family and I are camping/ and caravaning with passion since I was a baby.
Since I was little I wanted to visit and explore Sweden, because the countryside and the positive attitude from habitants impresses me a lot- so I think it would be a great possibility to take part in your project/ camp.
So I wanted to ask, if it’s possible, to help you and volunteer next summer, in August. I am a very open-minded person and I love to experience new things and people.
