Red Bench Community welcomes travellers and volunteers to Zavyalovo, a village in Siberia, Russia, about 100 km from Novosibirsk. This family-run travellers’ community offers a chance to experience simple village life, nature, and cultural exchange with people from around the world. Volunteers can help with building, farming, gardening, cooking, babysitting, bakery work, English activities, and daily household tasks. Longer stays of at least three weeks are preferred. In summer, accommodation may be in a shared Mongolian yurt with outdoor cooking, a banja, summer shower, and outside toilet. Free time can include hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, and berry picking.
