Red Bench is a traveller-friendly family community in Zavyalovo, Siberia, about 100 km from Novosibirsk, Russia. Since 2015, they have welcomed volunteers who want to experience simple village life close to nature. Volunteers can help with building projects, farming, gardening, cooking, babysitting, bakery work, English activities, and daily household tasks. Stays of at least three weeks are preferred, with full-time, part-time, or guest options available. Summer accommodation is usually in a shared Mongolian yurt, with outdoor cooking, a banja, summer shower, and outside toilet. Volunteers can also enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, and picking berries or mushrooms.
