Join a rural volunteer exchange with Evelyne, who keeps 35 goats and has been making cheese for around 15 years. Volunteers help 3 to 4 hours a day with gardening, cleaning, firewood, hay stacking and other seasonal tasks. Food and tent accommodation are included. The surrounding mountains, forests and villages offer plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring during free afternoons and weekends.
