The Palestine conflict is about two groups of people, Palestinians and Israelis, who both believe the land where they live belongs to them. A long time ago, different empires controlled this land, and many people lived there together. But in the 1900s, a group called Zionists wanted a special homeland for Jewish people, and they chose Palestine. After World War II, many Jewish people moved there, and in 1948, Israel was created. This led to fighting because Palestinians felt their land was taken away. Since then, there have been wars, disagreements, and struggles over who should live where. Many people want peace, but finding a fair solution has been very hard.
