A group of human rights experts is budding up a new human rights platform with the goal of aggregating in one single friendly-user web HR violations as well as best practices in several African countries. The concept is designed, and we are now looking for a gifted and creative web developer to help us implement the idea.

Note about the volunteer work and other expectations
We are looking for a proficient and creative web developer to develop a human rights web focused on African countries. We do have already the domain and the main web structure conceptually planned, but now we need you to help us implement and improve it with your good IT ideas and skills.
We have some beginners-intermediate level knowledge of web development but are looking for someone proficient to be able to develop a user-friendly and efficient platform and translate sound ideas into practical solutions. The goal is to have the web accomplished and working by the end of your stay. One of us will accompany you in all the work with the goal of being independent and efficient in future web maintenance.
If you are into human rights and social change for the better, you will enjoy it even more!

In your free time, you will definitely enjoy Lisbon summertime at your own pace. You will be living in central Lisbon, in a nice flat with your own private room, walking distance to main attractions and cultural events and a train ride to the beach.
The idea is to provide you with a comfortable space for living so you feel committed to helping us out with this key project for human rights in Africa.
Acroyoga and yoga are easy to happen as we are frequent practitioners. Portuguese is not a requirement but if you do know or want to improve it, it would be ideal!

We cannot provide food. The food is not expensive, at all, in Portugal and it is delicious.

No! we cannot help with Visa/invitation letters – similar requests will be ignored.
