Abridge EduCamp was Abridge Academy’s flagship cultural exchange program. It placed students and recent graduates to teach English or STEM at short summer camps and homestays across Asia, mainly in China with some options in Japan and Taiwan. Typical camp placements ran for three to ten weeks, while homestays could last several months. Packages usually included accommodation, cultural trips, training, and access to an accredited online TEFL course. Hundreds of participants joined before the pandemic. In late 2020 the provider announced that all cultural exchange programs were suspended, and the EduCamp page now confirms the program was cancelled. Abridge Academy has since focused on online ESL curriculum and teacher support.
