The Marina Orth Foundation in Colombia is seeking volunteer English teachers for public schools in Medellín and El Carmen de Viboral. No prior teaching experience is required—only fluency in English and at least B1 Spanish. Volunteers commit to 6–12 months, working about 30 hours per week (classroom support, lesson planning, and cultural clubs).
Ideal candidates are creative, organized, flexible, and open to cultural exchange, with some experience working with children and basic tech skills.
Benefits include free accommodation and meals with a host family, a monthly stipend, and visa support. Volunteers also help plan cultural activities, English clubs, and staff lessons while following strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
The foundation’s mission is to provide high-quality, modern education to children from low-income backgrounds, equipping them with tools to thrive globally.
