Join our volunteer program in Nairobi
Volunteer in Nairobi at Soweto – Hello Voluntourers! – We are a registered community-based non-profit organization that deals with all the members of our community. Our priority is to improve the living condition of the community through the provision of support, love and caring. We live in a slum area that lacks basic infrastructure. Most people here live below the poverty line. Poverty, illiteracy, underdevelopment, ignorance, and conservatism cause the majority of children in slums to be deprived of their basic right to education.
Our challenges
There are a lot of challenges to people who have been hit by poverty, hunger, drug addiction, and diseases. We want to give our young boys and girls a brighter future than their parents. Together we bring these young children and teach them about real life and how to change their legacy with early pregnancy and school dropout. Last but not least, we empower women in various projects so they are able to support themselves and help the elderly to a better life in their old age.
