Volunteer in Cambodia as a beauty expert – we are a spa and yoga studio located in the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Sugar Spa Siem Reap is a social venture offering professional, hygienic and natural luxury salon and spa services. Sugar has partnered with local NGOs to provide employment to vulnerable local women, offering a safe, fairly paid job that empowers them. We also provide advanced training by inviting educators from around the world to work directly with our staff.
We are looking for a spa and beauty expert with 2–5 years of experience (ideally specialised in massages, lashes and make up) who can help us with training and supervising our staff. As our beauty and spa volunteer trainer we ask you to help for about 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week. In exchange we offer two meals a day and private accommodation with private bathroom in our partner guesthouse. During your time off you can enjoy free yoga classes, free spa treatments from the training staff, free use of a bicycle and access to a swimming pool.
We look ideally for a minimum 2 month commitment, but we are open to discuss this.

- March to September, with a minimum stay of about two months.

Volunteers’ benefits

What to do in the free time
You can explore the majestic Angkor Wat temple complex, relax in the chilled atmosphere of Siem Reap with its many restaurants and cafés, cycle through the countryside and lotus fields, and get to know the community of expats and travellers who visit our spa and yoga centre.

Geography
We are located in the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia. Siem Reap is a tourist city that has grown in recent decades thanks to the heritage site of Angkor Wat. Despite the number of visitors it still has a relaxed vibe and the centre is small enough to move around easily by foot or bike. The climate is tropical and hot all year round, with a rainy season from June to November (usually short daily showers and very lush nature). Many visitors enjoy the period from November to January, while April and May can be very dry and hot.
How to get to your site
Siem Reap has an international airport served by several airlines, including low cost carriers such as AirAsia. There is also a well developed network of bus connections within Cambodia and with Thailand, Vietnam and Laos if you prefer to travel overland.

No, we cannot accommodate paying guests. We only host volunteers.
