Long-term caretakers are needed at a small shelter in Hoi An

A new listing originally shared via the Voluntouring.org Facebook group offers a meaningful chance to care for animals in Vietnam. Vietnam Animal Aid, a long-standing vegan rescue shelter based in Hoi An, is looking for experienced caretakers to join their team for a minimum of 6 months.

This nonprofit (active since 2013) rescues and rehabilitates animals with compassion and a strong ethical stance—no animal products are consumed on-site. Volunteers must have prior experience in shelters or vet clinics.

Couples are welcome too.

We are a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit working on the ground here for 12 years.

From Hoi An, you can bounce off to other places in central Vietnam as well as take quick one hour flights to Saigon and Hanoi for your days off.
