What’s the mission of your community? 🎯
Our mission is to create a peaceful, supportive, and positive environment where women can contribute meaningfully while experiencing authentic life in a Hawaiian rainforest.
We provide free housing in exchange for helping run a small B&B, giving participants hands-on experience, personal growth, and a chance to connect with other like-minded women.
This program benefits women who are adventurous, responsible, and positive-minded, helping them gain practical skills, independence, and cultural exchange opportunities.
We do not work with children or vulnerable populations, so the focus is entirely on creating a safe, respectful adult environment. Boundaries, privacy, and mutual respect are maintained at all times.

Geography 🌳
The B&B is located in a rural, high-elevation rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. The landscape is lush, green, and peaceful, surrounded by native plants, trees, and open sky—very quiet and nature-focused.
Climate
Because of the elevation, the climate is cooler than most people expect in Hawaii. Daytime temperatures are usually mild, and nighttime temperatures can drop to around 55°F (13°C). There is no heating or A/C, so layering and warm clothing at night are important.
Area Vibe
This is off-grid, countryside living—not coastal, not city, and not resort-style. The nearest beach is about 45 minutes away, and Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park is just 12 minutes away, offering incredible hikes, views, and natural wonders.
Life here is slower, quieter, and deeply connected to nature—perfect for those who enjoy simplicity, fresh air, and a grounded lifestyle.
How to get to your site ✈ 🗺
Fly to the Big Island of Hawaii. You can arrive at either:
- Hilo International Airport (recommended)
- Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (can take the bus to Hilo from this airport)
Is there internet access? 🌐
Yes, reliable Wi-Fi
