Biography

The Hayes family created Ooraminna in 1995 to meet the demand of tourists wanting a true outback experience. A film set depicting a 1920’s outback township, still present on the property, creates the perfect scene for large Dinner groups and evenings under the stars. There are several unique Dinner sites on the property including a large shed built as a wet weather alternative, a homestead with verandah, patio and terrace area plus other purpose-built buildings.

Location

Ooraminna also operates Luxury accommodation cabins, offering guests a longer stay and a chance to experience the outback. Located just half an hour South of Alice Springs and even less from the Alice Springs airport, Ooraminna is easily accessible which adds to its attraction.
