Hello, I am Kristina and I am a volunteer at Jinkyung Ranch near Busan with horses, goats, pigs, ostriches, dogs and cats. We have horse projects with disabled people and school classes. We need help with general maintenance and taking care of the animals.

Whatβs the mission of your community? π―
We want to bring kids and disabled people closer to animals, especially horses and we also want to provide an environment for Korean and foreign people to get in contact with each other. Since there are always around 2-3 Volunteers, itβs quite a funny group.

Note about the volunteer work and other expectations π
Your work will include:
- taking care of the animals and helping with the projects
- general maintenance (repair work, cutting grass)
- house chores (keeping the common areas clean)
- You should be prepared to work outside under different weather conditions and also to do physical work. Please note, we live on the countryside, so there are bugs and other small animals and your hands might get dirty.

They provide basic ingredients for you to prepare your meal. When we sometimes eat together, itβs mostly typical Korean food with meat and seafood.
We also have a hot and cold water supply.

We donβt charge any fees for food or accommodation, but you have to buy your own stuff if you want to eat something else.

What to do in your free time π΄π£π¦
It takes about 10 minutes to the next convenience store and about 15 minutes to the next bus station (buses run to Ulsan and Busan from here).
There are also the Yeongnam Alps which you can reach in 15 minutes by foot if you are interested in hiking. We also have a golf park nearby and an Amethyst cave with an amusement park, too. And if you are interested in riding and we have enough time, you can also try that.

The easiest way is to go to Ulsan Train Station (Tongdosa), where we can pick you up by car, but there is also a bus running from the train station to the bus station nearby.
