Help us organize boat trips in Himara, Albania

We are a family coastal business offering boat trips in Himara, Albania. Throughout your stay, you’ll have different tasks and shifts, so we ask for flexibility from our volunteers.

Shifts are usually 4 to 5 hours per day, 6 days per week, for a maximum of 30 hours per week.

One of your responsibilities will be assisting our staff at the kiosk by welcoming clients and helping them locate their boat. Occasionally, tourists may ask for information, and you can assist by providing details about our boat trips.

Another task will be working at our office, located on the main beach in the city, promoting our boat trips, giving out flyers and selling boat trips. Additionally, you’ll help with kayak rentals on the beachfront in front of the office.

During your free time, you’re welcome to join our boat trips as a tour guide. It is a fun and enjoyable activity that offers a great experience.

We offer accommodation and food through a weekly allowance to buy groceries.

My name is Nikolla, and together with my older brother Johnny, we run a family business offering boat trips in Himara. We grew up sailing and fishing along our coast.

Our team consists of 4 captains, including my brother and me, and 3 other local crew members. With us, you will interact with a diverse array of people from around the world. You can enhance your verbal marketing skills and crowd leadership abilities. Moreover, you can immerse yourself in Albanian culture and learn some Albanian words. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of our coastline from its finest point.

Notes about requirements and accessibility

We primarily seek female volunteers as we share rooms with other girls.

The requirements are:

• Good English speaking skills. Other languages are helpful too.
• Flexible
