Yogalåva is a small countryside farm in southern Norway where the hosts turned their barn into a yoga studio and community space. They also run yoga classes, massage treatments, a small glamping area, and an organic shop, with plans for more cultural events. They are looking for an extra pair of hands to support daily tasks around the place, in exchange for free food and accommodation. The expected workload is about 30 hours per week. Because older listings can change, it’s best to confirm availability, dates, and tasks directly with the hosts before making plans.
Join the Yogalåva project as a voluntourist!
Volunteer in Norway – Hi! We are a small farm in the countryside south of Norway. We moved here 7 years ago with a dream about making the barn into a yoga studio, have a little cafe and small intimate concerts and other cultural events. We also wanted to live closer to nature and be able to make our own vegetables and have chickens to provide us eggs. The barn was ready to use in July 2019 and we are so happy with how it has turned out. It is such a nice room with good energy to stay in.
A little bit about the barn
A lot has been happening since Yogalåva (the yoga barn) the last two years. We offer several yoga classes and massage treatments during the week. Last summer we started a glamping at our farm and a couple of months ago we started an organic shop. We still have a lot of plans and a lot to do, and it would be great to get some help from someone who thinks our dream and way of living sounds interesting and fun. We already had a lot of voluntourists at our place and had a very good experience with that.
We are open-minded people who are easy to communicate with and cooperate with.
