Hello! We are looking for a fit, enthusiastic, and energetic chalet host join us for the upcoming summer season, approximately the end of August. We manage two mountain chalets in the beautiful and bustling resort of Livigno, Italy, a popular winter/summer vacation destination. We need assistance with guest stays (check-ins/check-outs), communication, cleaning apartments, laundry work, & maintenance/organization tasks.

Hostel / guesthouse / small hotel
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hospitality-minded Chalet Host to assist with our mountain chalets in Livigno, Italy, from 1st July for approximately 8 weeks.
This is ideal for someone who loves travel, nature, mountain life, and meeting people. Rather than a conventional full-time job, this is a relaxed work-exchange style opportunity that allows you to spend the summer living in one of the most beautiful alpine destinations in Europe while helping us manage guest stays and chalet operations. Livigno attracts visitors from across Europe during summer for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, trail running, golf, horse riding, kayaking, paddleboarding, and simply enjoying the stunning mountain scenery and fresh alpine air.
Summer season ☀️
Your duties will include:
- Guest check-ins and check-outs
- Guest assistance
- Cleaning apartments and preparing for arriving guests
- Laundry (sheets and towels)
- Basic inventory checks and organisation
- Occasional cash handling and general chalet maintenance
What we offer:
- Approx. 5-6 hours of work per day, 6 days per week
- Weekly allowance of €160
- Free accommodation throughout your stay
- Shared bathroom and fully equipped kitchen for self-catering
- Plenty of free time to explore Livigno and the surrounding mountains
You may also bring one friend or partner free of charge. They can stay with you and enjoy the summer in Livigno while assisting the primary host with general cleaning, laundry, and hosting-related tasks when required.
We are looking for someone who is organised, responsible, physically fit, and genuinely enjoys hospitality. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
For the right person, this may also serve a pathway to future winter-season hosting opportunity.

What You’ll Receive:
This is a part-time work-exchange engagement, not a conventional full-time job, ou’ll receive a Free shared accommodation (heated studio dormitory, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, bedding, lockers), Free utilities (heating, water, electricity, Wi-Fi), Season-long Livigno ski pass (after the first month), a reasonable Weekly stipend for solo host or for two people jointly applying. Full use of chalet amenities including kitchen, bathroom, laundry, Experience certificate / reference upon successful completion
