Help at this nice hostel in Corfu
Ideally, we would like all the help we can get to do spring cleaning, gardening, painting, and if possible a person with I.T. knowledge and another person who has communicative skills with autistic children. Our goal is to create a warm family environment and keep our organic garden green.
General info
We have decades of experience with volunteers from all around the world and our family has had many “new members” from the lovely people we have met over these years. Help required is very basic, for example just cleaning, ironing, gardening, painting etc. However, we would also like to know what you are happy doing: if you are happy we are also happy.
The “Hard” work is on our own, but extra hands are always welcome.
We would also love to have someone who is good with children, and preferably someone who has experience with Autism who can spend some time just going to the beach or for a walk or just playing, etc.

Work expectations
We are in search of a cleaning lady who will work 8 hours a day and of course, get paid extra on top of freeboard and meals. This person ideally would be someone who likes cleanliness and has experience in similar work.
Other activities
Also, we give volunteers with free accommodation and 3 meals a day for the following:
- I.T. person to help us with our website, Facebook page and pictures for Instagram.
- General areas cleaning and maintenance, sweeping, mopping etc.
- also laundry and ironing.
- Garden scaping,
- watering,
- weeding,
- feeding animals,
- olive/grape picking when in season,
- potato harvesting etc.

Diet
We provide breakfast, lunch at 2 o’clock, and dinner.
Vegetarians and vegans are welcome but please let us know beforehand.
Drinks and alcohol are not included.
VISA
We cannot pay for travel costs nor we are able to provide a Visa. Sorry!
What are the volunteers’ benefits?

What to do in your free time
Corfu is located in the Ionian Sea and has many things to do. From Museums, sightseeing, and horse riding, to hiking, scuba diving etc.
It also has a beautiful city centre, with a Venetian influence and a lot of history.

How to get to your site
Corfu has an airport and there are discount flights flying to and from many European destinations. Alternatively, there are ferries from Italy and the mainland of Greece, Igoumenitsa and Patras.
Also buses come from the capital and other cities.
We are located 12km from Corfu town on the west side of the island on Pelekas beach, Kontogialos.
