Hey, I have a finca in southern Gran Canaria, only 11km from the beach but without any public transport links (people bike in or catch a lift or hitch). This is a queer-led space where people are allowed to express themselves in safety with the prime purpose of self development.

I am looking for a helping hand for this passion project: maintaining the building (cleaning, painting) and garden (weeding, planting, watering).

Am happy to help out with English or Spanish language learning.

There is a large friendly dog on site also so you must like dogs.

Anyone with carpentry, tiling or building skills would be amazing also.

Volunteers should be comfortable with a clothing-optional and LGBT environment. Naturism is not a requirement. Volunteers may remain fully clothed at all times and are never expected to participate in retreat activities. Volunteers will not be asked to perform any intimate, sexual or touch-based tasks.

There is a zero tolerance for any drug usage.

What is offered is a comfy large bed with bathroom, food provided for 3 meals a day, access to gym, yoga studio and hot tub. Volunteers can cook in a shared kitchen or independently, depending on their preferences. Expectation is a maximum of 25 hours of work per week.

This is my passion project retreat centre which provides a safe space for queer-led development. Typical retreats include yoga or tantra events.

I will be taking over the management of Aya House again in approximately four weeks and will be the volunteers’ main host and supervisor.
