Looking for Muay Thai instructor in vang vieng, profit share included

From our FB community. A family-run gym in the river town of Vang Vieng is searching for a committed Muay Thai instructor to join a small local team. If you are looking for a practical coaching experience in Southeast Asia, this Muay Thai instructor role brings together training, culture and community. You will help visitors and local students improve technique, build confidence on the pads and keep a welcoming training vibe for all levels.

About the location 📍

Vang Vieng is a small riverside town in central Laos, set between Vientiane and Luang Prabang. Limestone karst cliffs, caves and the Nam Song River shape the landscape, with blue lagoons, viewpoints, tubing, kayaking and rock climbing. It has a relaxed village feel with cafés and guesthouses, yet plenty of outdoor adventure. The climate is dry and cooler from November to February, hot from March to May, and rainy from May to October. The town is easy to reach by the Lao–China railway and by bus or minivan.

Muay thai instructor Vang Vieng – what you will do

Lead or assist group sessions, demonstrate pad work and drills, correct form and offer one-to-one tips when needed. You may help with class planning, short warm-ups and simple gym tasks. English is the everyday language. Lao or Thai is a plus but not required. The weekly timetable is part-time and agreed with the owners so you can keep space for your own training and for exploring karst mountains, blue lagoons and village life.

What you get

The hosts provide free accommodation, two meals per day and a 30% profit share from classes. This is a fair exchange with paid elements that value your skill and time. You will also gain real teaching experience, contacts in the local scene and time in a friendly community gym.

Who it suits

Someone with solid Muay Thai experience who enjoys teaching and stays calm and respectful with students of mixed ability. Previous coaching or fight experience is a big plus. Good fitness, reliability and a positive attitude are essential.

Please confirm expected weekly hours and days off with the owners before you commit, so everything remains within a healthy work-time schedule.
