Please apply only if you are really interested to come. Safety note: This opportunity involves white-water rafting and training to become a skipper. Prospective volunteers should ask the host about current safety procedures, supervision, protective equipment, training and any physical requirements before participating. Make sure your travel and medical insurance covers rafting and other adventure activities. Official travel advice also recommends caution around strong river currents.

If exploring rural or mountainous areas independently, remain on established roads and marked paths. Landmines and unexploded ordnance can still pose a risk in some isolated areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
