The exchange
We offer lodging and food in exchange for your work at the farm.Work Monday to Friday, 5 hours: You get food Monday to Friday, and lodge 7 days.
You will learn how we work in the farm, our local food and music.
Your spanish will improve here, we are patience and encourage you to speak in spanish, but help you to undestand in english.
We are lgbt friendly
Accommodation
We have a big room for volunteers only, with bathroom and shower.
Also you can camp around designated area, bring your tent.
We have common areas and a large kitchen to eat together.
Moderate alcohol consumption no problem.
For smokers you are asked to take care of where to throw the cigar, only in the designated areas and container.
We like to take care of the environment and we try to avoid pollution.
Free activities
Saturday and Sunday you have free time to spare. You can spend relaxing at the farm, or visit the Port of Veracruz, and Boca del Río, travel to near cities such as Xalapa, Cordoba, Orizaba, Alvarado, Huatusco, Fortin de Las Flores, Papantla, Tajín (all of them 1-4 hours away by bus), rich in ‘cultura veracruzana’, pyramids & museums, Ruta del Café (coffe route), Ruta de la Vainilla (vanilla route) and more. You choose.
Transportation
There’s a local bus stop at the main entrance of the farm, buses every hour, from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm). it will take you to the Central de Autobuses (Bus Station), Centro de Veracruz (Veracruz DownTown), las playas (beaches), and moore.
