Off Grid Festival is an eco-political sustainability festival for social change taking place 9-12th August at Tapeley Park, North Devon, England.

The event is volunteer-run, has a strong political focus, and is educational in nature with workshops and lectures during the day, and educational film and music in the evenings. It’s solar powered and all our food and drink are wholesome, organic and locally sourced. The gathering brings people together who want to build community, share information about land rights, sustainability, eco-living, off grid technology, environmental issues, governmental structures, arts and crafts, health and the financial system, and it gives participants practical incentives on how to contribute and facilitate the changes that are needed today. It also has a strong family focus with a wild kids area in the woodlands.
We require volunteers to help with site set-up prior to the event, kitchen/cafe/stewarding/general tasks/admin/odd jobs during the event as well as take down and litter crew after the festival. We especially need a reliable site team for set-up and take-down at present.
Experience and specific skills are an advantage but not essential. Hours can range from a few over the weekend to full-time, depending on how much you want to contribute.
In exchange for your help you will receive access to the festival and its content, a meal per shift, and the opportunity to work as part of a fantastic and dedicated team who are working hard for the sustainability ethos.
