Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary?

The Alternative Reality Cultural Association (Kultūras biedrība “Alternatīvā Realitāte”) is calling on young, energetic, and creative individuals to join the “Festival Count of May 2025”, one of the biggest social festivals in Latvia.

This volunteering project, funded by the European Solidarity Corps, is a unique opportunity to work in an international team, organize large-scale public events, and connect with people from different backgrounds. If you’re between 18 and 30 years old and from Latvia, an EU country, or an EU partner country, this is your chance to develop leadership skills, gain event management experience, and make a positive impact on the community.

Project Details:

📍 Location: Riga, Latvia
📅 Dates: April 13 – May 21, 2025 (39 days, excluding travel days)
🫶 Participants: 25 young people, including those with fewer opportunities or disabilities

About the Count of May Festival 🌿 🏰

The Count of may festival 2025 is a 550-year-old cultural tradition that brings history, legends, and creativity to life in the heart of Riga, ziedoņdārzs, on May 17. It’s a vibrant multicultural festival that blends music, dance, art, and interactive experiences, celebrating Latvian and European heritage. Organized by local enthusiasts and volunteers, it’s a space for all ages and backgrounds to connect, recharge, and be inspired.
