Volunteer at the Desert Alpine Club
We are located at Tukino skifield on the eastern slopes of Mt Ruapehu, and we are looking for a lodge manager for the 2022 ski season.
The lodge manager is responsible for the smooth running of the lodge with daily duties covering:
- welcoming guests (both club members and non-members),
- assigning daily chores (cooking, cleaning, etc) to guests,
- liaising with the bookings officer and club treasurer about guest numbers and lodge occupancy,
- helping out with other tasks around the lodge, etc
The position is suitable for a single person or a couple with other work potentially available on the skifield for the right candidate(s).
