Volunteer exchange, travelling helper needed in Canada – Desoleé, j’ai écrit mon profil en anglais. Si vous parlez français n’hesitez pas a me contacter, c’est trés apreciéé. – I am a divorced father of a marvellous 5 y.o (born in 2015). I was a sailor for many years and travelled the world for 16 years (8 non-stop). I used to be a helper and now I bought a house and am in need of some help!

My daughter only speaks French, so French speakers will have more chances.

General description

I just bought a house and need help with moving furniture, painting, gardening, general maintenance, babysitting, organizing and decorating. Maybe some help with computers if you are good on Linux or Photoshop and have a powerful machine (video editing). My daughter comes 2 to 4 days a week, and if you can spend some hours with her will be great.

4-5 hours of help per day

5 days per week – 2 days off

Note about the volunteer work and other expectations

You will have your own room at the house. Each night is exchanged for two hours of help. Additionally, you will have breakfast in exchange for one hour and lunch or dinner for two hours of help. If you prefer to bring your own food we can make arrangements.

No! we cannot help with Visa/invitation letters – similar requests will be ignored.

You can wander around in the beautiful woods and lakes.

What to do in your free time

From the house, you enter the woods.
Lakes are within walking distance.
If you have a car you will have a lot more to do.
There are sky stations with its vibrant towns, alternative villages and wild country not so far.

How to get to your site

I can pick you up in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts where there is a direct bus from Montreal.
