Hello, my name is Marie, I am 48 years old, and I am taking over my parents’ farm with my 20-year-old son, after working in the audiovisual field for 30 years. We are a welcoming, relaxed and open-minded family. We raise a herd of Aubrac suckler cows. We need help feeding the animals every day, doing some work in the fields, cleaning and helping with small renovation projects. You will stay in a private apartment, and once mutual trust is there, we will listen to your needs and wishes.

Nous sommes une famille accueillante, cool et ouverte d’esprit. Nous élevons un troupeau de vaches allaitantes de race Aubrac. Nous avons besoin de nourrir les animaux tous les jours et faire quelques travaux dans les champs. Vous serez hébergés dans un appartement privatif, et si la confiance est là, nous serons à l’écoute de vos besoins et envies.
Update from the host for summer 2026
Marie’s availability for summer 2026 is not fully fixed yet. She can try to adapt, but short stays are preferred. Current help may include more farm cleaning, which may not always be pleasant, as well as earth-and-straw plaster work for a small renovation project. There may also be some video-editing work, but only for volunteers who speak French very well and are confident using DaVinci Resolve.
Cet été je ne connais pas bien mes disponibilités. Je peux m’adapter mais pour de courts séjours.
J’aurais plus du travail de nettoyage (pas toujours agréable) sur la ferme ou des enduits terre paille pour une petite rénovation. Peut-être aussi du montage vidéo, mais là il faut vraiment bien parler français et maîtriser DaVinci Resolve.

We need people in good physical shape. Some tasks are not too tiring, but volunteers should be comfortable with practical farm work, cleaning, carrying loads and sometimes messy renovation jobs. Knowing how to drive a tractor can be a plus, but it is not required.
Nous avons besoin de personnes en bonne forme physique mais le travail n’est pas trop fatiguant. Savoir conduire un tracteur peut être un plus mais pas obligatoire.
What’s the mission of your community? 🎯
It is mainly about feeding and taking care of the animals, but handy people are extremely welcome. The farm needs renovation and small jobs in welding, electricity and construction. Depending on the period, help may also include farm cleaning, earth-and-straw plaster work for a small renovation, and possibly video editing. For video editing, volunteers need to speak French very well and be confident with DaVinci Resolve.
Il s’agit surtout de nourrir et de s’occuper des bêtes mais les bricoleurs sont extrêmement bienvenus! La ferme a besoin de rénovation et de petites travaux de soudure, électricité, construction…
Il peut aussi y avoir du travail de nettoyage, des enduits terre paille pour une petite rénovation, et peut-être du montage vidéo. Pour le montage vidéo, il faut vraiment bien parler français et maîtriser DaVinci Resolve.
