If you’ve ever considered lending your time and effort to a cause, why not choose LIFE?
Seeking help in the midst of a staff shift
With the core team having sought greener pastures abroad (quite literally in an asparagus factory), there’s an unmistakable need for more support. And this is where your commitment can make a huge difference.
All Are Welcome
Volunteers from all walks of life are welcome at LIFE. Prior experience with animals can be a bonus, but it’s certainly not a deal-breaker. The focus is on the will to help and the readiness to make a difference.
A rewarding commitment
The commitment? About 5-6 hours of daily work, caring for the rescued horses, dogs, and cats. It might be hard work, but it’s rewarding beyond measure. If you want to leave a lasting impact on the lives of animals, consider joining LIFE. They promise it’ll be an experience you’ll cherish forever.

Looking for an experienced horse handler
With the travel restrictions in place this year, LIFE has been unable to welcome as many volunteers as hoped and planned. If you are based in Bulgaria and are interested in getting involved as a volunteer, we would love to hear from you! The quality of life for our rescued animals is hugely enhanced by having a steady stream of volunteer helpers – and there are a wide variety of tasks for you to help with, keeping the days interesting and diverse.
We hope to be able to easily host international volunteers again soon…🤞 You can read more about our past volunteers’ experiences via the link.
In the meantime, we feel blessed to have Dee and Fiona with us once again. Thanks, ladies, and enjoy your week 🙂
Accommodation is available.
Hours: 9.30 a.m. to approx. 6 p.m. Flexibility required. The work includes some carting of manure but is mostly about leading rescued and rehabilitated horses out to pasture and watching them graze safely. If the applicant has horse training skills, some work with youngsters could also be included. References required.
A couple or two friends may also be considered.
The option to stay a long time as a volunteer is possible previous agreement.
Please share. Thank you!
