Useful websites to find grape harvesting jobs in France

Update for the 2026 season: every year most offers for the grape harvest (les vendanges) appear from late spring to the end of summer.
For the 2026 harvest, start checking the portals below from April and May and continue through August and early September.
Information and links in this article were last checked in December 2025.

Grape harvest in France is a big seasonal event every year from the end of August to the beginning of October. French farmers look for many seasonal workers for vineyard and cellar work. France is famous for its wine production and seasonal jobs are ideal for outdoor work experience in contact with nature. You can earn some money and meet international people from all over Europe. It is estimated that around 300,000 seasonal work contracts in agriculture are signed each year between August and October.

Farmers in all French wine regions (in particular:
Alsace,
Beaujolais,
Bordeaux,
Bourgogne,
Champagne,
Côtes du Rhône,
Pays de la Loire,
Provence)

…are always looking for new workers for varying periods of time.

Tip for 2026 applicants: prepare a short CV in French or English, note your dates of availability and if you need accommodation. Many vineyards give priority to candidates who are available for the whole harvest period and who already have housing or a car, but there are also offers with shared accommodation included.

Open positions

If you want to work or help with harvesting grapes during the next grape harvest seasons, here are some of the main portals where you can find seasonal work in France.
New offers usually appear from spring and throughout the summer, so it is useful to check these sites regularly and to create job alerts when possible.

The ANEFA (French National Association for Employment and Training in Agriculture) and its network publish many agricultural job offers.
On their job matching platform you can find information on seasonal and year round positions in the different French departments:

Legal note: citizens of EU and EEA countries can normally work in France without a visa.
Non EU citizens usually need a work permit and sometimes a specific seasonal worker visa.
Always check the most recent information on the official website of the French consulate in your country before travelling.
