A message from Ishmael
Dear family of the world🌍🧕🏼🧔👳🏾♀️👩🏻🦱👱🏻♀️, my name is Ishmail, I am from Sierra Leone – West Africa 🇸🇱߷.
I am a young man with a passion for helping children who are still living in the streets in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱; some of them are orphans whose parents passed away by nature deaths or contagious disease. 🥺
Many poor women and children in Sierra Leone cannot always afford the basic needs like shelter, clothes and education. 🏫🎒
WACFund is looking for volunteers or any supporting agency so that we can support them.
Volunteers and travellers that come here – they are a big help by raising up hope for our children. 💪
Online and “offline” opportunities for volunteers in Sierra Leone
These are the activities we urgently need help with:
- 📍fundraising, 💸
- 📍teaching/assisting education in school, 🧑🏫
- 📍building schools, 🚌
- 📍empowerment programs for women. 🚺
- 📍project proposal writing. ✍️
- 📍artists/musicians 🧑🎨🎸
And many more…
Volunteers ideas are always welcome!
In general, we require the help of qualified volunteers, but even if you think you don’t have any good qualifications, your presence here is always welcome: it gives children and the local community the opportunity to broaden their mind by meeting people from different cultures, countries and mindset🌈.
I hope to hear from many of you soon!

In short…
We offer online and hands-on volunteering opportunities in Sierra Leone. This project was born to provide support to orphans and vulnerable children so as to enable them to live a better life like other children in the country and around the world.
To help our community, we don’t necessarily need to raise charity-money, just your brain and heart: any skills you can offer could surely be of help!
