The mission of CHILD Children’s home is to give the misfortunate children a loving and caring home and a fair opportunity to escape poverty by providing them with good education and showing them a better way of life. The volunteers will interact with children, help them improve their English speaking skills and other life skills.

The volunteers will have the opportunity to live in the home together with the children, learn about Indian traditions (traditional food, weddings, etc.), holidays (Holi, Diwali, etc.) as well as sports (cricket). Chennai also has some very nice temples and you are free to explore other cities and nearby states in order to experience different cultures that are present in India. Southern Indian food is well known and very tasty.
