Social media manager for Voluntouring.org (remote)
Hi everyone! This message is from the Voluntouring.org project manager. I am looking for a passionate social media collaborator to partner with. This is a remote, part-time role and I am considering a small payment based on results.
Main tasks
- Share and write 2β3 posts per day on the Voluntouring Facebook page, presenting new listings and articles in an engaging way.
Required skills
- Native or very fluent English, with good communication skills.
- Genuine interest in humanitarian causes, volunteering and slow travel.
- Ability to use basic spreadsheets (Excel or similar) to track posts and results.
Optional skills
- Creating simple graphics for social media.
- Writing or editing short articles and blog posts.
- Familiarity with the WordPress platform and basic IT skills.
- Knowledge of Instagram and other social networks.
- Availability on WhatsApp and Telegram.
Benefits
- A small payment proportional to monthly results (currently around 25β30 euros, depending on traffic and performance).
- Experience you can add to your CV or portfolio.
- The chance to support ethical travel, grassroots projects and humanitarian initiatives.
The job in practice
Are you good at introducing and sharing articles on social media? Can you write short but catchy posts, choose appropriate images and send a clear message to readers?
If yes, this opportunity could be a good fit. One of the goals of Voluntouring.org is to help international non-profit communities, eco-villages and organisations receive help, recognition, volunteers and, in some cases, funding. The workload is light, so this role is ideal for students, digital nomads or anyone who has some time to dedicate to online activities.
